Another shot from a walking tour of the Paramount Theater, an unparalleled deco building. These projectors still work and are used in other old theaters in California.
Wow, you just don't see that anymore. I remember how the projectors (I don't know if it was this type or not) used to eat up the film when you were watching a movie.
I miss the sound of old time projectors! In time I'll probably miss the sound of car engines in some nostalgic way too (as they become electrified and silent)Love this building..
