The Walker's Concrete plant was posted earlier. Here is another shot of the grounds. I think the water is from a recent rain. For more reflections, visit Weekend Reflections, a meme that always yields interesting photos.
Beautiful reflection and a wonderful contrast between man and nature. Although many people see industrial objects as an eyesore, the engineering that people have accomplished can have a stark beauty too.
Neat reflection, Carolyn. Nice capture (and reflection of) the crystalline blue sky.

Blue skies and industrial stuff -- two of my favorites! Nice reflective pairing.
ReplyDeleteAmazing reflections, the blue sky is so intense, a perfect mirror!

Great reflection shot, I love the blues.
ReplyDeleteIt almost looks like a lake, you got nice reflections in it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflections in a rather ugly place !
ReplyDeleteWow... The colors are stunning on this picture...
ReplyDeleteYou've managed to make that plant look really good! ;-)

ReplyDeleteIf that's the case, I hope the water drains away fast then. I can almost see happy mosquitoes making their way to it.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that something hasn't changed: you still have the gift of turning something ugly into beautiful works of photographic art.
Big hug, Carolyn! You know why. Missed you all so much! I hope that 2011 has been good to you so far!
