Monday Mural: Queen of the Nile

More from Solano Way.  Full of Egyptian-ish symbols and eyes everywhere.  Then there's the sharks, extra terrestrials, and all those eyes.  I get the feeling the artist was so full of ideas and images, that they all spilled out without the constraint that the image should be an integrated whole.

Welcome to Monday Mural: if you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme's for you.  Just follow the Linky steps below.  You decide what constitutes a mural.  Once you start looking, you find them everywhere. Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters. Looking forward your mural finds posted this week.  Google+ users, please configure your post so we all can leave a comment.  Will be heading out again for another couple of weeks, so will not be able to leave comments.  The Linky should go up every Sunday.  Hasta luego.

  1. Eyes seem to often be a major element in murals.

  5. It is certainly a mishmash of ideas. A pity he/she didn't think to design several murals. Very colourful tho.

  7. I have to agree, it's a very busy mural, he should have stuck to the Egyptology theme only.

  8. I like it ODP, it certainly makes you stop and have a think about it :) using eyes like that seem quite popular with street artists these days.

  9. It makes me think more than one artist worked on this.

  11. Beautiful.
I love the shades of brown in the background. The blue makes the fact of the queen pop out.
