Can't help myself; it's the Park Street Bridge again. There's something about the color and silhouette that keeps calling me back. This time we even have
pedestrians
perambulating the
path across the bridge. Visit
ABC Wednesday for other "P" subjects from around the world.
Fascinating structure, love the green color too.
ReplyDeleteI see the pedestrians coming, I'd better go!
P is for palm tree
Love all the lines and angles you captured in this shot. Perfect for P.
ReplyDeleteWe have a bridge similar to this - Newport Bridge in Middlesbrough. Great example of early 20th century engineering.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot and great choice of letter P today. Happy Wednesday!

Good choice, Carolyn - and «Louis» agrees that it is an interesting structure. He hates driving across it, though - that metal mesh surface isn't a pleasant driving experience, even short as it is.
ReplyDeleteStunning composition. And that color... dreamy.
ReplyDeleteAlways fond of bridges and this one is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNaturally, I approve of a GREEN bridge.

Beautiful shot. I love how you capture the size of the bridge.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the bridge.
ReplyDeleteOn behalf of the ABC Wed. team, thanks for playing.
such a neat bridge!why not photograph it again?
ReplyDeleteI love your last two stranger portraits as well.
You can go on and on, I don't mind! It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt is my fave color and it looks great from any angle :-), so what's not to keep you from shooting it as much as you like? I love seeing different takes on the same subject.

It's a perfectly photogenic pedestrian pathway! And very GREEN! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat is my favorite color green, I call it jadeite green. As you could tell from my blog header I do love jadeite. Thanks for stopping by for a visit. I always enjoy the company.
ReplyDeleteYes, I understand this kind of compulsion to see something that 'speaks' to us - and civil engineering has certainly produced a lot of compelling structures. Thanks for going back there!
ReplyDeleteI can see why you are attracted to this bridge. A great shot
ReplyDeleteYou are so good at photographing bridges! The metal structures always look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI love bridges, great shot :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a perfect photo of a photogenic bridge. Don't you just love walking across bridges (in nice weather)? I did the 5 mile walk over the Vincent Thomas bridge just so I can WALK the bridge (there is no pedestrian track on that one).
