Old Oakland

Old Oakland is the original downtown area that grew up around the train station where the transcontinental railroad ended.  It's primarily Italianate buildings were renovated in the 1970s and it is now popular for the many restaurants that dot the area.  Linking to ABC Wednesday.

    Beautifully crisp details here ODP.. Italianate is right up there with Art Deco as a favourite.
