Skywatch Friday: roof tops

The City Hall cupola peeks out from behind a modern roof line a block away.  A half moon watches all.  As you can tell, we've continued to enjoy fine weather during the day.  But the temperature drops dramatically as the sun sets.  Rain is in the forecast for the weekend.  For more Skywatch Friday offerings, click here.

    I always like to see a "day-moon" and that is a nice roof line too!
    Apparently the entire state is forecast for a rainy weekend.

    I like the angularity of the roof lines and then the roundness of cupola, all against the bright blue sky and the sliver of moon. Nice! Have a great weekend.

    the ancient astrologers used to refer to the phases of the moon as 'the mansions of the moon'. i think you have captured that phrase rather splendidly with this photo.

    Gorgeous warm light on these walls. Apart from the interesting architecture, the blocks of colors make for a good photo.
