Temescal Creek

Temescal Creek runs down from the hills and eventually flows into Lake Temescal, featured here.  This spot is in the Thornhill Drive neighborhood mentioned in this week's Monday Mural.  Most of the homes along the creek look like they were built in the 20s and 30s.  Hard to believe that this house is only two blocks from a major freeway.

    Im California anything could be near a major freeway but all that moss makes the location look quite remote.

    Lovely but around here, a couple of days of rain and that tree might just fall over. It's amazing the huge old trees that just come out of the ground here.

    I'm glad you mentioned the freeway. This gives the look of being in a remote locale. Love all that organic green
