While out and about in the Longfellow neighborhood of West Oakland I found this newish mural sponsored by the local community association. It was done in 2015 by Jason Pyrzynski, who is originally from Chicago but now lives in Oakland. The poem celebrates an openness to life with one's fellow man. A good thought to begin the new year.

A colourful start of the new year.
ReplyDeleteNice text but don't get the immediate connection between the words and the rather crystalline sphere next to it. As a stand alone a very colorful and nice one but in combination.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, perfect for the New Year :)

ReplyDeleteLovely quote; just what we need, now. Let's hope of safety and security in 2017.

A good three dimensional feel to the shot.
