Weekend Reflection: Venice in the courtyard

The owner of a local apartment building has covered the side of his building and the back courtyard with a Venice mural.  There is no attribution to the artist.  Or the motorcycle.  But there is a reflection in there somewhere.  Be sure to visit James' meme for other reflections.

  2. A nice attempt for his favorite spot (my guess), but have to admit I'd rather be in Venice myself:)

  3. It's always fun to try to guess peoples' motives for their choices. I don't object to the Venice mural, really, and the bike is parked on a perfect spot there, right in front of the door. And yeah, I see the reflection... :-D

  4. No sign of any Venetians, or any tourists!

  5. That is actually a very good picture of reflection, cause it is so unusual, to take the picture of a painting showing reflection... Nice shot indeed and great inspiration for our contest !

  9. I think its a fun mural to brighten up what was probably a nothing spot. I am amused at the placement of the motorcycle. A fun reflection photograph.

  10. Took me a little while to see the reflection, but finally caught on. One could ask where the mural stops and the outside world begins...

  11. Love this. Ride your Harley, equipped with pontoons, up the Grand Canal.

  13. Excellent mural, it's almost like the motorcycle is part of the painting.

Regarding the shutter count? I never reset the picture counter in my camera, so when it hit 9999, it starting adding new 2-digit number to is, e.g. IMG_9999_01, so that image was number 10,000.
