I is for ink

Tattoos are not my thing, but I'm clearly in the minority.  It is fascinating to observe how people are now choosing to decorate themselves.  No more hula girls, anchors, and hearts that say "Mom".  I bet  laser tattoo removal will be a good investment in the very near future.  Linked to ABC Wednesday.

  1. I can't understand why do peaple such a thing !
When I see beautiful girl with a lot of tattoos, like Angelina Jolie for exemple, I find that repulsive.

  2. Count me into your minority. Tattoos are not for me. The thing that gets me is that people get them on their body where they can't see them.

  3. I hate to think what all these young tatted out kids are going to look like when they are senior citizens and everything is sagging, wrinkled, faded and more.

I have met a few that are so covered I wonder how they manage to get and keep their employment? Then, perhaps I am so old and out of touch that companies no longer have dress codes.

  6. Tattoos have overwhelmed LA. And many of them are not even slightly subtle. Around the throat, behind the ear and down the side of the neck and yesterday I saw a perfectly normal young girl, mid-twenties with a flower on her face.

  7. I always think of how the tats will look with people are in their 80's.

  9. Not my thing either. My daughter has an IMPERMANENT tattoo so it can be washed off...

  11. Ink is certainly the "in thing". My Son and Daughter have indulged but not their Mom.

  13. I'm with you! No tattoos for me but I do love looking at them. I always see such interesting ones on fellow club members in the steam bath at my gym.
