One of my favorite coffee houses. An easy walk from the house, usually open tables, low noise, rotating art shows, and a great tuna salad sandwich. What's not to like? The fact that it just closed. Supposedly another coffee house will open in its place. There's another Rooz in town but that means getting in the car and driving. I'd rather walk. Linked with
ABC Wednesday.
Closed? That is a bummer. It looks like a good one. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteHow disappointing! A new coffee house just opened up in my village so am looking forward to checking it out as an alternative to Starbucks! And it's within walking distance, too!

Definitely looks like a great place.
ReplyDeleteHope the new coffee house is worth walking to for you. I like their signage.
ReplyDeleteSuch a really cool looking place. Sorry it closed and glad your candidate won - mine too. :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope a new one will open quickly... I like to take a good cafe too, but in Switzerland the prizes are amazing, 5$ for one cafe !
ReplyDeleteSorry about THAT. Looks nice.

Looks a homely place.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad when a place one enjoys closes its doors. Well, at least now you'll get more exercise!! Kate, ABC Team
ReplyDeleteI love when I find a coffee house with good coffee and ambiance that I can walk to. It will take something pretty spectacular to replace this one,I am thinking.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a delightful place. So sorry it has closed. It's rough for small businesses to stay open in this economy.
ReplyDeletelow noise in cafes is difficult to find these days. too bad this closed shop. i hope you'd love the new cafe, too.
ReplyDeleteR is for...
Bummer - for your sake, I do hope you get another walking distance coffee shop in it's place, love those blue tiles. Love your new header - gorgeous persimmons
ReplyDeletepersimmons ripe nicely, stweet or astringent? take me to the cafe.
ReplyDeleteOh no, don't you hate when that happens! Wonder if it was owned by Aussies...the name 'roos' as in kangaroos?
ReplyDeleteWhere is it located? It rings a bell..... I hope the new café will be as nice as this one....
ReplyDeleteDid you know that Rooz moved to 1918 Park Blvd? Same great art, taste, new location!
