People's Grocery located in West Oakland is dedicated to bringing wholesome food to the local community where grocery stores are typically limited to corner stores. They also grow some of the produce they sell. This plot is next to their store on 7th Street. I'm sorry that I don't know who did this entrancing mural that graces the side of the store.

Marvellous.
ReplyDeleteNice detailed colorful mural. The artist had also a lot of fun to paint the more creepy insects of the food chain. Like it.
ReplyDeleteSo many fantastic details! And the foreground makes for a great shot.
ReplyDeleteWhat detail ... what color. Beautiful ... and for once, no one would be able to park in front of it ;-)
ReplyDeleteVery suitable for the garden in front of it!
ReplyDeleteLove the dragonfly! Thanks for hosting as usual.
ReplyDeleteThe Artist is surely a nature lover !
ReplyDeleteLove this pic. Amazing mural and garden to match!
ReplyDeleteWOW - they bring new meaning to "sourcing". What a great concept, and how lucky, to grow food and sell it right in the city.
ReplyDeleteVery cool to have a local store grow their own produce just outside.
ReplyDeleteOh WOW! So colourful and the idea of such a grocery store sounds like a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI love this mural, but I love what they're doing even more. Buy local! No matter where you are. :)
