another warm day at the lake

We're having a mini heat wave so it's best to run the lake in the early morning.  By noon we're fanning ourselves and kvetching about the heat.  Since most houses in the Bay Area don't have a/c, sleeping can be hard when the fog doesn't come in at night.  But as soon as the weather turns foggy and damp, we'll complain about that too.  Here in the Bay Area we can be delicate creatures.

  1. We are enjoying some perfect weather at the moment and are grateful for it. Much needed heavy rain last night. Won't be too much longer and we will be in the 30's and 40's, Celsius, that is. The weather gods are very fickle, aren't they. Nice photo of the Bay

  3. I laughed at your commentary today. In most places, people complain about the weather unless it is 78 degrees and dry. Not 77. Not 79. Not humid. It must be 78 degrees and dry,

  4. I never thought about the AC issue. I guess Seattle is the same way. It would be so unthinkable out here in the center.
