ABC Wednesday: Y is for yellow

At the Lake Merritt pergola late afternoon on July 4.  The yellowish tone on the columns and ground reflect the warm sun starting to set in the west.  We're having warmer than normal weather which we're all loving after a rainy spring.  For more "Y" photos, visit Mrs. Nesbitt's meme ABC Wednesday.

    The sunshine is the best possible yellow light. It's warm and natural rather than artificial. Nice! PS. Thanks for the novel suggestion. Already have it on my "to read" list which is very looong!

    I love yellow, inspite of the unfavourable meaning of it in the yellow press. Yellow is also the colour of cowards. Your photo shows a great kind of yellow.

    Yellow is indeed the color of the day... but that is not a complaint, and your take on it is sweet.

    [There are many, many fabulous (non-high rise/ factory) places still in China... I'll have to start posting some more. Unfortunately I lost a large set of digital photos, some of my favorites from China among them. Sigh. Will just have to go back... ]
