Monday Mural: mutant bees

This mural is on a corrugated metal partition recently put up while a house is being renovated.  The mural has been in place less than two months.  The last time I was on this block in West Oakland, I showed you this mural.   This weekend I found this addition.  I think the artist's name is encrypted in the eyebrow of the figure at the end of the fence.

    I think this is really great looking. Also think it took a lot of black paint just to get started before doing any design.

    Much better to look at the mural rather than the corrugated metal partition.

    That must be difficult to paint on a metal bubbly underground. But the artist succeeded very well. The eyebrow could hide his signature, can't read it very well, but I like the two murals.

    They both show such talent, wonder if there is some sort of arrangement with the fence owner, those are really sophisticated enough to not be spontaneous.
