steel and lace

I thought this was an incredible paint job on this vintage car.  It reminds me of Chantilly lace.  Spotted at the car show during Art Murmur.

    The car is most likely a '49 Chevy, though GM used that body shell up to and including the '52s.

    While on the subject of retro cars...

  10. It reminds me of the laced wings of an insect. This paint job would look great on a VW Beetle.
