bike lanes

These green swaths are showing up around town.  They indicate dedicated bike lanes---no cars allowed.

    Someone beat me to the width of this bike lane! That's very nice, ours are so much narrower but then so are most of our streets!

    I drove public transit for over 40 years and bike lanes were one of the best safety improvements installed on the roads. Theses ones are the first I've ever seen in the middle of the roadway. Here they hug the curb.

    Ha, they have seen the light also in your part of the world. Only the cycle path in the middle of the street isn't something I would recommend.

    Lovely composition with striking colors. This is the first time I see a green bike lane, ours are mostly black or red.
