Monday Mural: United Nations anniversary


This is a new mural on the back of the Cathedral Building in downtown Oakland.  It was done by Zio Ziegler to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the United Nations Charter.  The convention working groups met in both San Francisco and Oakland prior to the Charter's signing in SF.

    It is a very large mural and hard to miss! The symbol of the dove is very appropriate.

    You really need to pull this one in close to see all the details, it absolutely is an amazing piece ODP, brilliant find.
