Monday Mural: garage door art

This mural is on a garage door at 57th St. and Shattuck Avenue in North Oakland.  There is a companion piece on the other half of this duplex.  I think this guy means it when he says no parking in the driveway.

  1. Bonjour,
Il ne vaut mieux pas stationner de peur de se faire courser.
    Bonne journée.

  2. Scary. Makes me wonder if was painted by someone from The Haight 40 years ago.

  3. Jeez, Redpat from Toronto and you are having a contest about garage door paintings, aren't you? I haven't seen any in Hartford, but I guess that is to be expected in Connecticut. Did you know the tourism folks here came up with the slogan Land of Steady Habits? Would you spend real money to vacation in the land of steady habits? Sheesh.

  4. That's taking Blue Dog to another level. I'm parking somewhere else!

  5. Not subtle, but creative. Like it a lot better than a real nasty dog or a big ugly sign.
