Here's the music building at Mills College. Several of the buildings on campus date from the early 20th century when Spanish style was popular. Stucco, tiles, and wrought iron are such a pleasing combination. For more unmodified photos, visit

ReplyDeleteLove your photos, so glad to have found your blog, great, great stuff.
ReplyDeleteGreat architecture! Love your photo.
ReplyDeleteVery good, Carolyn! «Louis» has never really seen the campus at Mills. The style of this building reminds him of some of the original buildings at St. Mary's College in Moraga and at Texas Tech University in his hometown of Lubbock, TX - buildings that date to the same era. These buildings are far more attractive than the prison-fortress style buildings from the '70s on the UC Berkeley campus...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful facade on this building. Love the perspective and framing of your photo.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great, Carolyn. Isn't Spanish architecture still popular in California?
