This mural is tucked away behind a building on E. 12th St. in an industrial, commercial strip approaching downtown. I couldn't find a signature but the Andean setting reminded me of Paul Simon's song El Condor Pasa.

And as soon as I saw it I thought of the ubiquitous Peruvian street musicians. Whether in San Francisco, New York, Buenos Aires or London you can't tell them apart. I wonder if they come from central casting.
I can almost hear it! Simon and Garfunkel have always been my favourites, since before "The Graduate" (yes, I'm that old).
