This weekend was the annual Piedmont Avenue Halloween parade. Besides the parade with trick o' treating and a pumpkin patch at the cemetery, there's always music and other entertainment. This group performed at the
Rocky Baird mural at Key Route Plaza. The
Key Route street car system ran in Oakland and Berkeley until 1958.
As always, everyone had a good time. A beekeeper and her favorite bee.
Dog Marley
Capoeira exhibition in the street.
Everyone knows that moms are super heroes.
sweet day!

Dog Marley rocks!! Great parade pictures.
ReplyDeleteA Halloween parade. What an interesting concept. I like the mural.
ReplyDeleteWhat great fun!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the band is playing among the folks in the mural... Fun photos - especially Dog Marley! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe beekeeper is my wonderful neighbor Margitta, "the mayor of Ramona Avenue" and a tireless volunteer for the Oakland Museum's White Elephant Sale. Her gorgeous bee/dog is named Sally.
ReplyDeleteNice images!
ReplyDeleteThe one of the dog is my favorite this time.
