This Uptown building painted black cannot help but capture your attention as you go by. It's an odd visual combination of body building and Afrocentric images with religious symbolism. But when you read
the story behind this business, it all makes sense. Linked to
ABC Wednesday.
The name is certainly inviting ! From the thumbnail, I thought it was a box of something !
ReplyDeleteEven God needs to stay in shape! :)
ReplyDeleteI read the story in the link; it is extraordinary and I am definitely impressed. A remarkable man. I'm sure the building's facade and name stops traffic! Kate, ABC Team

ReplyDeleteThat's so cool!
ReplyDeleteRead the story behind the gym and it really touches my heart. What a blessing that it has thrived in this economy. Isn't it just like God to accept any and all who want to come in regardless of where they are in their life.

I did a double-take to see it said God's Gym not Gold's Gym!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great story! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThe story of Gary and the evolution of this gym is heartwarming. What a difference he is making in the lives of others and what changes he has seen in his own.
