ABC Wednesday: X is for Xmas ornaments

X is the hardest letter in the ABC Wednesday alphabet.  So following the lead of others, I'm going with Xmas.  I love Santa ornaments but waited for the post holiday sales.  Hah!  By the time I got to the store they were already packed away for next season.  Let that be a lesson to me.  Please note the new URL for ABC Wednesday when you visit the meme.

    Rumor has it that you'll have your chimney swept before Christmas next year because you don't want him getting smokey and sooty coming down your chimney...ornamental Santa or the real deal.

    «Louis» knows that rumor is true because he started it himself...

    Glad you noticed the new URL. Yes, you were not the only one Xmasing.

    BTW, I saw this article, Bittersweet Revitalization: Oakland's Reincarnation, and immediately thought of you. I'm curious as to what you think of it. I've only been to Oakland twice, once to an A's game, so I'm unqualified to say.

    Love your Santas! Seems like the stores decorate earlier and earlier, but pack it away earlier as well to get busy on the next holiday as far ahead of time as possible! Seems to have little to do with the meaning of the holiday -- only the money! Wishing you a wonderful Happy New Year!
