There's a Vespa store on College Avenue in the Rockridge neighborhood. Every time I drive by they seem to beckon. They're making them in candy colors now. But I'm holding out for 1950s aqua. For more "V" posts, check out this week's ABC Wednesday.
We see lots of vespas in Bridlington here on the North Yorkshire Coast. There are lots of ralleys there and it is always fun to see them riding in their convoys! Ofcourse as bikers we give them respect but something goes back to the mods and rockers era! lol! Thanks so much Denise ABC Team
I had a red scooter (don't recall the brand) when I lived in San Francisco. It was the only way to travel. Got a parking space all the time! :-) Toot toot!
If I lived alone in the city, I would get one for sure! My step-daughter's boyfriend has one that he zips around on in San Francisco. Next time I visit, I'll have to ask him if I can ride it. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if you need a special license.
Awesome colors but 50's turquois will be perfect.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen those candy coloured ones. the aqua is still a favourite, though.

Nice capture of the colours.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who wants one too. I'd hold out for the aqua too. It makes a bold statement on the road.
ReplyDeleteMy word veri? vorns! How appropriate and fun.
We'll have to check in with Signor Vespa about the proper color choice... «Louis» thinks il Signor will vote for the aqua...
ReplyDeleteI think I'd go for red. If you're gonna go...

There is one here in Santa Rosa on College Ave., no less. I never thought of taking a picture as you did. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteLove those old Vespa colors.

I dunno, Oakland, that candy-colored pink one has your name on it.
