ABC Wednesday: V is for Vespa

There's a Vespa store on College Avenue in the Rockridge neighborhood.  Every time I drive by they seem to beckon.  They're making them in candy colors now. But I'm holding out for 1950s aqua.  For more "V" posts, check out this week's ABC Wednesday.

  1. Awesome colors but 50's turquois will be perfect.

  3. We see lots of vespas in Bridlington here on the North Yorkshire Coast. There are lots of ralleys there and it is always fun to see them riding in their convoys! Ofcourse as bikers we give them respect but something goes back to the mods and rockers era! lol!
    Thanks so much

  4. I have a friend who wants one too. I'd hold out for the aqua too. It makes a bold statement on the road.

  5. We'll have to check in with Signor Vespa about the proper color choice... «Louis» thinks il Signor will vote for the aqua...

  10. I had a red scooter (don't recall the brand) when I lived in San Francisco. It was the only way to travel. Got a parking space all the time! :-) Toot toot!

  11. If I lived alone in the city, I would get one for sure! My step-daughter's boyfriend has one that he zips around on in San Francisco. Next time I visit, I'll have to ask him if I can ride it. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if you need a special license.

    Great colors in this shot!
