Monday mural: your freedom is in books

Spotted in East Oakland in the San Antonio District.  This mural is on the side of an adult education school on International Blvd.

    Excellent mural! I really like the style and the message. Any mention of the artist?

    Very Latin America. Now you made me think of Diego Rivera's amazing work, some of which I had the privilege of admiring in Mexico City.

    Oh, I am so glad you decided to go ahead with Monday Mural... I'll have to remember to come by. This one - I agree with JM, very Latino - is awesome... a real work of art with a laudable message.
