for the birds

Just in case the birds can't find a place to nest?   Spotted in a small grove of redwoods where Glen Echo Creek surfaces on Richmond St.

    A joke, perhaps? Official nesting boxes are usually placed out of reach of passers-by. That tree bark is really striking.

    The holy huge tree seems to embrace a pretty bird box. . .

    The bird can sleep soundly.
    The peaceful view.
