Monday Mural: work in progress

A new mural is being created on 52nd St. near Shattuck Avenue.  Ama and Leon think it will take about 5 months to complete.  After all, there are several support pillars and retaining walls providing the canvas.  It will be fun watching their work progress.

If there's a mural in Oakland, you'll find it! «Louis» is quite impressed with everything you've found!

  2. This is too cool. I would love to witness artists painting a mural. I bet it would really be a fabulous experience. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving your nice comment. The swirling colors are so nice. Nice shot.

  3. More murals! The Chamber of Commerce should chance the slogan from Oakland: there is no there there to Oakland, city of mind boggling wall art." Let us see how this progresses.

  4. Oakland, land of murals and tiles. I wonder what the economics of painting murals is. Devoting five months means someone is supporting them . . .
