Another section of the huge collaborative mural from David Polka and Ernest Doty I showed you July 23. This is Doty's work. Can't tell you what it means, but there's no denying this is a compelling image.

It's a bit freaky.
ReplyDeleteGreat shoot with the car in the same color...
ReplyDeleteThe mural represent maybe a waterman ?
It's weird but mind provocative. I sometimes wonder what's going through the mind of the artist when they dream theses things up.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is strange! I would feel like someone was watching me all the time...nice work, but not something I would want to have to face every morning out the window!
ReplyDeleteSure an eyestopper this one. Not something to look at the whole day for me.
ReplyDeleteWow this is impressive, but a bit heavy to see.
ReplyDeletePorwerful! I like the details of the blue car and blooming plant.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very striking image! I like it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting.
This is a very colorful image! Reminds me of Picasso's Blue Period!
ReplyDeleteIf in the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king, what is the four-eyed man? Okay, stupid question. LOL! If you had not told us. I'd never have guessed this was part of the same mural posted earlier; both the style and coloration are so different. Like others, I do find the image a little disturbing to look at. But the blues all fit nicely.
ReplyDeleteFrancisca, that is one of my husbands favorite quotes. Wish I could give you an answer.
DeleteReally nice photograph but he is kind of scary looking! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting! :)
What a cool work, nice colours, the details of his face are great! ;-)
ReplyDeleteDon't think I would enjoying coming upon this on a dark night.
ReplyDeleteSurely impressive!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting; have a great week.
What gorgeous work, his talent with a spray can just really shines in this one. Great shot, great capture.
ReplyDeleteOh good grief, just for a split second I thought I was still experiencing the aftermath of having had a glass of red wine at lunchtime (which I don't usually do!) This is incredible!
