While driving around East Oakland I found this street shrine placed in a median strip designed to divert traffic. Whoever created it included icons from India and China as well as incense and continuous music. It was like a small oasis in the middle of the street.
Très belle photo !

Have a nice day! Cath.
It's a very colourful mystery.
ReplyDeleteHow really fun and colorful. I am in India for a couple of weeks, so when I opened your blog I just started smiling. I trust you are having a nice holiday.
ReplyDeletePerhaps we need more of these in our busy and hectic world!
ReplyDeleteAs kitsch as amazing! What a sight.
ReplyDeleteHow cool though it would get wrecked round here
ReplyDeleteI love it - such fun!
ReplyDeleteThat is almost as weird as the statue of Lenin in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. Refreshingly weird.
