Theme Day: decay

All along the estuary you'll find remnants of docks and piers that have fallen into disuse.  Time and weather take their toll.  For more shots of this month's theme, visit City Daily Photo.  For the inspiration of this month's theme, visit JM who has published more than 80 photos on the theme of decay found in old Lisbon.

  3. I love seeing these places, there's a wonderful serenity in your capture - as if this place has finished its "busy" life chapter and now in a quieter phase:)

  12. Man can only tame nature for a short time, and as soon as he turns the other way, nature takes back its own. I wonder if this is one of the effects of global warming, the rising of the seas, and the increasingly dramatic weather that the world is enduring.

Thank you for your contribution to Theme Day.
