This Victorian house is now a duplex. It's recently had a new paint job with at least six colors. Pretty unusual, if not elegant especially for the neighborhood. Linked to ABC Wednesday.
The colours work really well together and I love that in the centre of it all...there are two traditional leadlight windows :) tres jolie discovery ODP.
That is outstanding. You really must have a vision of what you want and how it will look before going to the paint store.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely unusual. The purple reminds me of a house with that colour we would pass going to see my grandparents.
ReplyDeleteuber chic. love it.
ReplyDeleteIt's very cheerful! I like it on a dreary foggy winterday!

Certainly unusual but I do like the paint job
ReplyDeleteThe color's match perfectly with each other. Otherwise it could be a pain in the eye but not here. Somebody has it nicely thought out.

Love it - the colors bring out each detail in this building front!
ReplyDeleteI love all this "technicolor"
ReplyDeleteUnusual and unique, it does attract attention.
ReplyDeleteGreat find for the week.
would love to catch a glimpse of it myself when we drive there next - where is this in Oakland?
ReplyDeleteWonder what the Victorians would have thought? But then again, they did put up some surprisingly colourful buildings in London.
ReplyDeleteWe need buildings like that out here, it sure would be easy to find in the snow!
ReplyDeleteI like the colors of the house. It´s very original and it gives hapiness to the neighbourghood. Greetings.
